offer psychotherapy
for individual s, as well
as couples.
For
individuals the therapy we
provide is less structured and
collaborative in nature.
Couples
therapy is more directive,
focused on teaching couples how to make their
relationships more loving by
increasing their marital
friendship and
emotional intimacy. I do
this collaboratively by using
empirically grounded strategies
developed by
John Gottman (Sound
Marital House),
Sue Johnson (Emotion
Focused Therapy), and Dan
Wile (Collaborative
Couple Therapy).
Effective
marital
therapy, also known as couples
counseling, can be a great way
