What is the Alliance and How Can I Join?
 The Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization. The purpose of the Alliance is to provide the California Central Coast communities with FREE access to health products, a FREE monthly email newsletter, a website, an interactive community blog site, a FREE Monterey County community events calendar, a television program, access to FREE health education classes, services, information, health articles, outreach programs, and grant money for programs and services that promote health wellness of body, mind and spirit. You can participate by attending FREE classes, subscribing to our "Think FWD" e-newsletter, applying for grants, working as a volunteer, joining our membership, and by promoting your events, products, or organization, FREE on our webiste, blogsite, or calendar.
Who Are the Members of the Alliance?
 Members of the Alliance are people JUST LIKE YOU: business professionals, students, mothers and fathers, doctors, teachers, counselors, therapists, nurses, senior citizens, donors, vendors, ministers, business owners, pracitioners, healers, nonprofit organizations, and many others. Members join the Alliance because they believe in our mission of providing free access to health and wellness education. Members are dedicated to providing services that include, but are not limited to: prenatal care, pediatric care, early childhood education, emergency care, chiropractic healthcare, massage therapy, homeopathic medicine, naturopathy, diet and nutrition, physical fitness, herbal medicine, iridology, physical therapy, music therapy, art therapy, reflexology, acupuncture, counseling, worship or spirituality, naturopathy, optometry, social and community events, and much more.
What Types of Events and Programs Do You Sponsor?
 The Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance schedules events at a wide variety of community center locations on the central coast. The Alliance advertises and/or sponsors events held throughout the California central coast with its granting program and through its membership program. In the past, the Alliance has sponsored events and classes covering a wide variety of subjects, such as reflexology, diabetes, cancer prevention, meditation, nutrition, VNA blood pressure testing, body scans, yoga, Tai Chi, massage, tarot card readings, astrology, numerology, senior events, animal communication, crafts, cooking, physical fitness, psychic healing, music therapy, book discussion groups, support groups, seasonal events, theater, dance and movement, creative writing, worship and spirituality, energetic healing, fairs and festivals, and much more. What Services Do You Provide Through Your Forward Giving/Granting Program?
Our “Hearts-to-Hands”Program provides individuals and local community service organizations with products and grant money for food, shelter, therapy, medical care, health education and rehabilitation, and wellness prevention programs. Some of the products we provide are: food, diapers, blankets, clothing and furniture, and medical supplies such as blood pressure cuffs, oxygen tanks, walkers, etc. Some of the services we provide through our granting program are: physical therapy, counseling and psychiatric treatment, medical exams, health education classes, etc. We serve a large population such as the uninsured, mental health patients, single pregnant women, infants and children, low income and minority groups, disabled, elderly, and at-risk youth and people of all ages who are in need of rehabilitation, food, housing, and health and wellness education. Can I Volunteer to Help?
 There are many ways in which you can be volunteer with the Monterey Bay Holistic Alliance. People of all ages are invited to participate. If you are interested in our Volunteer Program, you can participate in a variety of ways such as helping keep our center clean and bright, typing up our scheduled events calendar, bagging or delivering donated food or health product items, or even volunteering to teach a health education class. If you are a vendor, you can also help us by donating or selling us your products at a discounted rate, so that we may sell them online as a fundraising activity. You can join our Alliance and donate your time conducting introductory talks, demonstrations or workshops to promote yourself, your private practice, or health organization and to help educate the community about health resources and alternative approaches to healing.
